I supported the system design team, and the entire VV community, through the shift to work from home and remote development.
I gave presentations on "Benefit of the Doubt" when dealing with coworkers that only exist through text and a webcam and ran discussions around how to remain productive, and sane, when working from home for long periods.
My daily task was to support and lead the two IC designers doing the heavy development of the online features, colaborate and align with the UI/UX team, be the point of contant for the Online Engineering team, work with the gameplay experts on how best to bring a modern sensibility to the previous multiplayer design while still retaining the original charms, as well as being the PoC for VV leadership for discussion and decision making.
